2009 EX- Rear Windows

Just traded in my 06 RAV-4 for the 09 EX. This is my fourth Honda vehicle (still have my 95 Civic-EX). One thing I have not seen addressed in the manual is.....the rear windows do not go all the way down. Am I doing something wrong?

My next comment is, on occasion the transmission "clunks" when I take it out of park, even on flat ground. Is this normal?

Thanks for any advice offered.

Congrats on the purchase of your CR-V!

I believe the reason the rear windows don't go all the way down is because of the design of the door and the protruding wheel well. The glass appears taller than the what the door will allow to go into it and thus only will go down so far. But, no, there's nothing wrong with your rear windows.

Yep, this is exactly it. Just be happy you've been fortunate enough to have all your cars prior to this one have fully-retracting rear windows. Many, many car designers are willing to sacrifice this feature for packaging reasons.
